The first step in setting up your balloon garland is to find a good spot in your home to hang it. A fireplace mantel, stairs, or even over a window are all great spots to hang a garland. Once you've found a spot, take the garland out of the bag, spread it out, and hold it up in a few spots around your home to see which location works best.
Next, use the included Command 3M hooks and alcohol wipes to put hooks up where you would like the garland. You will find three attachment strings that have many loops on the garland; one at each end and one in the middle. Simply hook the attachment string to the Command 3M hook and stand back to look at your arrangement. If you want your garland to move up or down, you can move it to a new loop.
If you notice any holes in your garland, don't worry. You'll find extra balloon clusters inside the bag. Slip the rubber band on the balloons around another balloon to cover the hole. This will keep your garland looking full and festive!
Now that your garland is hanging and looking great, it's time to party! One question we often receive is how far in advance you can pick up the balloons? As long as you keep your balloons in a cool location out of direct sunlight and away from sharp objects, they will last for 5 or more days.
